HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH Removal
3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH Removal
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal
5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH Removal
7. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal
9. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal
10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR COVER Removal
12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY Removal
13. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) Removal
14. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
15. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH
(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Detach the clamp.
(c) Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and ECU integration box RH.
16. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
