C1240/75 - Yaw Rate Sensor Discrimination (Test Mode DTC)
DESCRIPTION
DTC C1240/75 will be cleared when the yaw rate and acceleration sensor sends a yaw rate and/or acceleration signal or when Test Mode ends. DTC C1240/75 is output only in Test Mode.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
* When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization and calibration of the linear solenoid valve Initialization.
* When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration Calibration.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK PART NUMBER (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)
(a) Check that the proper yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed.
OK:
Proper sensor is installed.
NG -- REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check if the same DTC is recorded Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Result:
B -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU Removal
A -- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
