Installation

2GR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Bank 1)

(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.

(b) Install the sensor with the bolt.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or does not jump out of position during installation.

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the sensor connector.

3. INSTALL EGR DELIVERY CHAMBER Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 2 EGR PIPE Installation

5. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Installation

7. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) Coolant (for Engine)

8. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK On-Vehicle Inspection

9. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

(a) Start the engine, and check that there are no oil leaks.

10. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

11. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

12. INSTALL INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

14. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

15. INSTALL FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER CAP (w/ Air Suspension) Installation

16. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly Installation.

17. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
