L110 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: OIL PUMP MOTOR CONTROLLER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Be sure to perform the procedure as described below. Do not turn the power switch on (READY) before the cable is connected to the negative battery terminal.

1. INSTALL OIL PUMP MOTOR CONTROLLER






(a) Install the oil pump motor controller with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)






(b) Install the oil pump motor controller with bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the clamp.






(d) Connect the connector and securely lock the lock lever as shown in the illustration.
- Be sure to securely lock the claw of the connector.
- Push the connector all the way in and lock the lock lever.
HINT: When the connector is pushed all the way in, the lock lever will move slightly towards the lock position.





(e) Push the lock into the lock lever to securely lock the lock lever of the connector.






(f) Connect the connector to the oil pump motor controller.






(g) Install a new wiring harness protector to the wire harness.
NOTE: Make sure that the 2 locks are securely locked.





(h) Using tape or equivalent, cover the area indicated in the illustration.
(i) Insert the claw of the new wire harness protector into the hole in the side member and turn the claw until it touches the side member.





NOTE: Do not twist the electric oil pump harness more than 360°when installing it.

(j) Separate the claw of the wire harness protector from the side member.
NOTE: Do not apply excessive force to the wire harness protector.

(k) Turn the wire harness protector to align the claw and the clamp installation hole, and install the protector to the vehicle.






(l) Connect the connector and securely lock the lock lever as shown in the illustration.
- Be sure to securely lock the claw of the connector.
- Push the connector all the way in and lock the lock lever.
HINT: When the connector is pushed all the way in, the lock lever will move slightly towards the lock position.

(m) Install the clamp to the bracket.






(n) Push the lock into the lock lever to securely lock the lock lever of the connector.

4. CONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE Installation

5. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

9. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

10. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Installation

11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
