ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: TRUNK LID ACTUATOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal
3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
- After the power switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal
6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal
7. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Removal
9. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) Installation
11. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal
12. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)
13. REMOVE TOOL BOX (w/o Spare Tire) Removal
14. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal
15. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
16. REMOVE TRUNK LID ACTUATOR





(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and nut.
(c) Remove the trunk lid actuator.
