How To Proceed With Troubleshooting





CRUISE CONTROL: DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM: HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN)*

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the multiplex communication system (MPX) is functioning normally.

4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*

5. CHECK FOR DTC*

(a) Check for DTC Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.

(b) Clear the DTC Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.

(c) Recheck for DTC Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System.
