C1240/95 - Yaw Rate Sensor Discrimination

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU determines if the yaw rate and acceleration sensor identification information sent via CAN communication matches the yaw rate and acceleration sensor identification information memorized by the skid control ECU.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
- When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration Calibration.
- When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK PART NUMBER (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)

(a) Check that the proper yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed.

OK:

Proper yaw rate and acceleration sensor installed.

NG -- REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. RECONFIRM DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).

(c) Check if the same DTC is recorded Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
