BRAKE CONTROL: ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM: C1442/44,C1443/34: Invalid Data Received from Deceleration Sensor


DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor via the CAN communication system.

The yaw rate sensor has a built-in acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Turn the power switch ON (READY) for 60 seconds, and then turn the power switch OFF.

(c) Check if the same DTC is output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
