SUSPENSION CONTROL: ACTIVE STABILIZER SUSPENSION SYSTEM: C191B: Rear Vehicle Speed Signal


DESCRIPTION

If the rear active stabilizer control ECU receives a wheel speed malfunction signal, DTC C191B is output. The wheel speed signal is diagnosed by the skid control ECU. If electronically controlled brake system related DTCs are output, perform a diagnosis for those DTCs. If no electronically controlled brake system DTCs are output, there may be a malfunction in the rear active stabilizer control ECU.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)

(a) Turn the power switch OFF.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the power switch ON (READY) and the Techstream on.

(d) Check that electronically controlled brake system DTCs are not output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC is not output.

NG -- GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART) Electronically Controlled Brake System

OK -- REPLACE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU Removal
