SUSPENSION: REAR STABILIZER BAR: INSTALLATION

HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR





(a) Make sure the bracket's arrows face the front of the vehicle.





First, temporarily install bolt 1. Then install bolts 2, 3 and 4. Then tighten bolt 5.

Torque : 48 Nm (489 kgf-cm, 35 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH





Install the stabilizer link with the nut and bolt.

Torque : 26 Nm (265 kgf-cm, 19 ft-lbf)





Install the stabilizer link with the nut.

Torque : 89 Nm (908 kgf-cm, 66 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

4. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Support the rear suspension member with an engine lift and attachments.

CAUTION:
* As the rear suspension member is very heavy, securely support it with an engine lifter with attachments.
* Perform this procedure with several people supporting the rear suspension member so that it does not tilt or fall.





Slowly raise the suspension member jack, and install the suspension member to the body.

(b) Install the 2 rear suspension member stopper lowers, and the 2 differential support member stopper lowers with the 4 bolts.





Torque : 127 Nm (1295 kgf-cm, 94 ft-lbf)

5. TEMPORARILY INSTALL PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH Installation

6. TEMPORARILY INSTALL PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the liner with the 4 screws, 11 nuts and 2 clips to the vehicle side.

17. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT WITH CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY Installation

18. TIGHTEN NO. 1 CENTER SUPPORT BEARING ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSPECT AND ADJUST NO. 2 AND NO. 3 JOINT ANGLE Installation

20. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR Installation

21. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR NO. 1 HEAT INSULATOR Installation

22. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

23. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE DAMPER Installation

24. INSTALL TAILPIPE RH Installation

63. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque : 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)

64. CHECK SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM

(a) Check the suspension control system Adjustments.

65. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT

(a) Inspect and adjust the rear wheel alignment Rear Wheel Alignment.

66. CHECK SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL

(a) Check the speed sensor signal Test Mode Procedure.

67. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) for LED headlight:

Adjust the headlight Headlight Assembly (for LED Headlight).

(b) for HID headlight:

Adjust the headlight Headlight Assembly (for HID Headlight).

68. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA

(a) Adjust the object recognition camera Adjustments.

69. INSPECT FOR GAS LEAK Installation
