SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: REMOVABLE ROOF AUXILIARY CATCH: INSTALLATION

1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REMOVABLE ROOF AUXILIARY CATCH ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, temporarily install the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly LH with the 3 screws.





(b) Engage the clamp.

(c) Connect the connector.

2. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REMOVABLE ROOF AUXILIARY CATCH ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

3. SET METALTOP ROOF

(a) Close the metaltop roof.

(b) Measure the clearance between the front header and front slide roof panel sub-assembly (A) and then make the adjustment for the lengthwise direction.





4. FULLY TIGHTEN REMOVABLE ROOF AUXILIARY CATCH ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Check whether the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly LH contacts the guide pin of the removable roof lock sub-assembly at the shaded contact points shown in the illustration.

(b) While confirming that the guide pin is making contact at the shaded contact points, turn the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly LH in the direction shown in the illustration and fully tighten the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly LH with the 3 screws using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench.





Torque : 22 Nm (224 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf)

HINT
After fully tighten the removable roof auxiliary catch assembly LH, measure the roof lock stroke Installation.

5. FULLY TIGHTEN REMOVABLE ROOF AUXILIARY CATCH ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

6. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER (for LH Side) Installation

8. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER (for RH Side) Installation

9. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER Installation

11. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR (w/ Rain Sensor) Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT ROOF PROTECTOR LH Installation

13. INSTALL FRONT ROOF PROTECTOR RH Installation

14. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH Installation

15. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER (for LH Side) Installation

16. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH Installation

17. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER (for RH Side) Installation

18. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH Installation

20. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH Installation

21. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH Installation

22. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation

23. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH Installation

24. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH Installation

25. INSPECT RETRACTABLE HARDTOP SYSTEM Installation
