DESCRIPTION

The front side No. 2 ultrasonic sensor RH is installed on the front bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the front side sensor RH. If the front side sensor RH has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the power switch ON (IG) and move the shift lever to R. Then clear the DTC.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.

(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.

2. REPLACE FRONT SIDE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RH

(a) Replace the ultrasonic sensor with a normally functioning sensor Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.

(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
