DTC button

The customer can also order "Dynamic Traction Control DTC" as an option (SA5DT).

The DTC button is located in the center console operating facility. The DTC button is used to switch over the operating condition of the Dynamic Stability Control. The DTC button can be used to select 3 switching states:

The LIN bus provides the electrical connection between the center console control panel and the heating and air-conditioning system. The control unit relays the signals from the DSC button to the junction box electronics unit (JBE) on the CAN. The JBE then forwards the signals to the DSC on the PT-CAN. Depending on the DSC mode, the indicator light in the instrument panel is switched on. The indicator light shows a skidding vehicle with the labelling "OFF" or only a skidding vehicle.

Item Explanation
1 Mode:
Dynamic Traction Control DTC and "TRACTION" in the auxiliary instrument on the steering column DSC switched off and "DSC OFF" in the auxiliary instrument on the steering column
2 Mode:
Dynamic Stability Control DSC flashes when controlled lights up in the event of failure

The DSC receives additional input signals from the following components:
