2.0L Non-Turbo (Vacuum Test)

  1. Remove cruise control cable from throttle body side. Disconnect vacuum hose and harness connector from speed control servo. Using a jumper wire, connect battery voltage to servo terminal No. 3. Jumper servo terminals No. 1, 2 and 4 to ground.
  2. Using a hand-held vacuum, apply 10-15 in. Hg to servo. Cruise control cable should pull in and hold as long a vacuum is applied.
