SOFT TOP DOES NOT OPERATE USING ROOF OPEN/CLOSE SWITCH

Description

Soft top does not operate using roof open/close switch.


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SIGNAL

Check trunk room ramp switch circuit. Testing and Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

2. CHECK BACK-UP LAMP SIGNAL

Check back-up lamp circuit. Back-Up Lamp Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

3. CHECK ROOF OPEN/CLOSE SWITCH

Check roof open/close switch circuit. Roof Open/Close Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 4.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

4. REPLACE SOFT TOP CONTROL UNIT

Replace soft top control unit. Removal And Installation.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- INSPECTION END
NO- Check intermittent incident. Intermittent Incident Regular Grade.
