Front Seat Adjuster Replacement (4 Door)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).




2. Remove the following components from the recliner mechanism (2):

1. The screw
2. The recliner handle (3)




3. Remove the following components from the seat:

1. The 2 screws
2. The seat cushion side panel (5)

4. Remove the following components from the seat assembly:

1. 2 bolts
2. 1 nut
3. The outboard seat adjuster (8)

5. Remove the following components from the seat assembly:

1. 2 bolts
2. The inboard seat adjuster (9)

Installation Procedure




1. Install the inboard seat adjuster (9) to the seat. Secure the adjuster with 2 mounting bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the outboard seat adjuster (8) to the seat. Secure the adjuster with 2 mounting bolts and 1 nut.

Tighten the inboard and outboard seat adjuster mounting bolts and the nut to 18 Nm (13 lb ft).

3. Install the seat cushion side panel (5) to the seat assembly. Secure the side panel with 2 screws.




4. Install the recliner handle (3) to the recliner mechanism (2). Secure the handle with the screw.
5. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
