Installation

Rear Suspension Construction
1) Remounting rear differential to rear suspension fame. Rear Differential Unit Components
2) Support rear suspension frame with rear differential by using mission jack, and jack up it.

WARNING:
If the rear suspension frame is not stably supported on a transmission jack or other supporting equipment during its installation, the frame could drop and cause personal injury.

Make sure that the weight of the rear suspension frame is supported at the frame's center and that the frame is well-balanced on the support.

3) Install rear suspension frame (3) to vehicle body and tighten rear suspension frame mount bolts (1) with washer (2) to specified torque.

NOTE:
The suspension frame mount bolts are pre-coated with friction stabilizer. If these bolts are reused, they may work loose.

Be sure to replace the suspension frame mount bolts with new ones whenever they are removed.

Tightening torque
Rear suspension frame mount bolt (a): 128 Nm (13.1 kgf-m, 94.5 lbf-ft)

4) Tighten rear wheel speed sensor harness clamp bolt (1) to specified torque and then connect wheel sensor harness clamp (2).

Tightening torque
Rear wheel speed sensor harness clamp bolt (a): 11 Nm (1.1 kgf-m, 8.5 lbf-ft)

5) For headlight auto leveling model, install rear height sensor connector (1) and harness clamp (2).

6) Tighten parking cable clamp bolt (1) to specified torque and then install parking cable clamp (2).
