DTC Confirmation Procedure
P0962
NOTE:
Check that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- Battery voltage > 10.5 V
1) Turn ignition switch to ON position for 10 sec.

NOTE:
- If DTC other than aimed DTC are previously detected in DTC confirmation procedure, be sure to troubleshoot DTC previously detected.
- Check that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- Battery voltage > 10.5 V
2) Turn ignition switch to ON position for 10 sec.
DTC Troubleshooting
1.
Was "CVT System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to CVT System Check CVT System Check.
2. Line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit check
Turn off ignition switch and disconnect TCM and solenoid connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to TCM and solenoid connectors.
If connections are OK, check that line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit (A4) is as follows.
- Wiring harness resistance of line pressure control solenoid valve circuit is less than 1 ohms.
- Insulation resistance of line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit is infinity between solenoid connector and vehicle body ground.
- Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit terminal and each terminal at solenoid connector.
- Circuit voltage of line pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit 0 - 1 V with ignition switch ON position.
Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
3. Line pressure control solenoid valve check
Check resistance of line pressure control solenoid valve. Testing and Inspection
Is it in good condition?
YES -
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck.
NO -
Replace line pressure control solenoid valve (valve body assembly).
