Installation








BRAKE CONTROL: SKID CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
NOTE: While the battery is connected, even if the power switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or any door courtesy switch turns on. Therefore, when servicing the brake system components, do not operate the brake pedal or open/close the doors while the battery is connected.

1. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU






(a) Install the skid control ECU with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 in-lbf)






(b) Connect the 4 connectors to the skid control ECU.

3. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS






(a) Connect the 3 connectors to the hybrid vehicle control ECU.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Repair Instruction - Initialization

10. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM Installation

11. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
(a) Check and clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
12. PERFORM LINEAR VALVE OFFSET LEARNING
(a) When the skid control ECU is replaced, perform linear valve offset learning Initialization.
13. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
(a) Perform yaw rate sensor zero point calibration Calibration.
14. PERFORM TEST MODE INSPECTION
(a) Perform test mode inspection Test Mode Procedure.
