Reassembly
SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): REASSEMBLY
1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH
(a) Engage the clamps and install the front seat wire RH.
(b) Connect the 4 connectors.
2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR
(a) Install the 2 seat cushion edge protectors to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.
3. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP
(a) Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.
4. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU Installation
5. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)
(a) Engage the 2 clamps and install the seat heater control sub-assembly.
(b) Connect the connector.
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH
(a) Engage the guide and the claw.
(b) Install the front seat lower cushion shield RH with the screw.
8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Engage the claw.
(b) Install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.
9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.
10. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Engage the guide.
(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.
(c) Engage the clamp.
11. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.
12. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Engage the guide.
(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.
13. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT
(a) Install the active headrest lower unit with the 2 nuts.
Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
(b) Install the cable clamp.
14. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT
(a) Install the active headrest upper unit with the 4 nuts.
Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the cable to the active headrest upper unit with the nut as shown in the illustration.
Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with 11 new hog rings.
NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
(b) Insert the front seatback cover bracket to the seatback pad.
16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
(a) Temporarily install the front seatback cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.
(b) w/ Seat Heater System:
Engage the clamp.
(c) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.
(d) Engage the hook and install the front seatback cover bracket with the nut.
Torque : 5.6 Nm (57 kgf-cm, 50 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.
* Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.
(e) Engage the 2 hooks.
(f) Close the 2 fasteners, and then close the seatback cover.
(g) Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.
NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
(h) Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback cover with pad with 3 new hog rings.
NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 17 new hog rings.
NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD
(a) Temporarily install the front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.
(b) Engage the hooks.
(c) Install the front seat cushion cover with pad with the 2 clips.
(d) Bend the 2 seat frame claws downward.
(e) w/ Seat Heater System:
(1) Engage the 2 clamps.
(2) Connect the 2 seat heater connectors.
(f) Engage the clamp.
19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD
(a) Insert the guide and temporarily install the front seat cushion inner shield.
(b) Engage the claw.
(c) Install the front seat cushion inner shield with the screw.
20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation
21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD
(a) Engage the 2 guides.
(b) Engage the claw.
(c) Install the front seat cushion shield with the 2 screws.
(d) Engage the hooks.
22. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE
(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.
