B2322 - Front Passenger Side Door ECU Communication Stop

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when LIN communication between the front power window regulator motor assembly RH and main body ECU stops for 10 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When using the Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:
Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.
* Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

HINT
DTC B2325 is stored when the communication between the front power window regulator motor RH and main body ECU stops.

PROCEDURE

1. CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Recheck for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

HINT
When both B2322 and B2325 are output at the same time, troubleshoot B2325 first.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH)





(a) Disconnect the 2D instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the G1 front power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance (Check for Open):





Standard Resistance (Check for Short):





Standard Voltage:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the G1 front power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the tables below.

Standard Resistance:





Standard Voltage:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Temporarily replace the front power window regulator motor assembly RH with a new or normally functioning one Removal.

(b) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

6. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Recheck for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
