Front Exhaust Pipe and Catalytic Converter with Attachments Assembly Overview

1 From turbocharger

2 Gasket

• Replace

3 25 Nm

• Replace

• Coat stud bolts with hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3)

4 Exhaust pipe with catalytic converter, front

5 To rear muffler

6 Connector

• Connector with protective housing on the right bottom side of the vehicle

7 Suspended mount

8 25 Nm

9 Heated oxygen sensor (G39), 50 Nm

• Use hot bolt paste ( G 052 112 A3) to grease thread only; do not let hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3) get onto slits of oxygen sensor body.

• Use ring spanner set for oxygen sensor ( 3337) for removal and installation

• For removing, disconnect the connector and free up the line
