Differential Lock Hydraulic Fluid Filter: Service and Repair

Haldex Clutch Oil Filter

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)

• Drip tray for VAS 6100 (VAS 6208)

Removing

- Place the drip tray (VAS 6208) under the rear final drive.

- Remove sealing cap - arrow -.





- Remove oil filter.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence, noting the following:

- Remove O-ring - 2 - from oil filter sealing cap - 1 -.





- Insert spring - 4 - in oil filter - 3 -.

- Install sealing cap - arrow - with new O-ring and tighten. Tightening specification => [ (Item 6) Sealing cap ] Generation II Haldex Clutch Assembly Overview.





- Fill with new high performance Haldex clutch oil and check oil level in Haldex clutch. Refer to => [ Generation II Haldex Clutch Oil Level, Checking and Filling ] Generation II Haldex Clutch Oil Level, Checking and Filling.
