Selector Mechanism with Lever

• After installation, the cable must be checked for ease of movement and must be adjusted.

- Remove the center console.

- Remove the cable from the transmission. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable ]. Selector Lever Cable

- Remove the exhaust system components from underneath the heat shield.

With All Wheel Drive (AWD)

- Remove the driveshaft.

Continuation for All Vehicles

- Remove the heat shield from the bottom of the vehicle.

- Remove the 4 selector mechanism nuts from above.

- Remove the selector mechanism.

Tightening specification for the nuts: 8 Nm

- After installation, check the cable. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.
