Reclining Mechanism

Removing

- Remove seat back. Refer to => [ Seat Back ] Seat Back.

- Remove the torsion rods. Two on the 60% seat and 1 on the 40% seat.

- Remove the 4 crosstube bracket screws.

- Remove the 4 nuts securing the recliner to the seat cushion frame.

- Remove the cross talk tube connecting the recliners on the 60% seat.

Installing

- Connect the 60% recliner with the cross talk tube.

- Attach the recliners to the seat cushion frame with the 4 nuts. Tighten nuts to 50 Nm (37 ft lbs).

- Hook the torsion rod to the recliners on one side. 2 on 60% seat, 1 on 40% seat.

- Install cross tube bracket with 4 fasteners.

- Install seat back. Refer to => [ Seat Back ] Seat Back.
