Seat Recliner Switch

Removing






• The procedure for replacing the seat recliner switch is the same for both the 60 and 40 third row power folding seats. The following steps should be performed only on the seat with the inoperative seat recliner switch.

- Remove the effected third row power folding seat. Refer to => [ Seat ] Seat.

- Remove outboard side shield.

- Remove the seat cushion and cover assembly as necessary. Refer to => [ Seat Cushion and Cover ] Seat Cushion and Cover.

- Disengage the recliner switch cover (2) from the tabs (5) on the switch retainer sewn into the seat cover (1).

- Slide the switch and cover forward in order to release it from the two holding tabs (4) and lift it out of the retainer.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.

- Separate the switch (3) from the switch cover (2).

Installing






• The procedure for replacing the seat recliner switch is the same for both the 60 and 40 third row power folding seats. The following steps should be performed only on the seat with the inoperative seat recliner switch.

- Insert the switch (3) into the switch cover (2).

- Connect the electrical connector.

- Install the switch and cover into the seat cover.

- Slide the switch and cover (2 and 3) into the two holding tabs (4) of the switch retainer sewn into the seat cover (1).

- Push the switch and cover (2 and 3) down until the tabs (5) are fully engaged.

- Install the seat cushion and cover assembly. Refer to => [ Seat Cushion and Cover ] Seat Cushion and Cover.

- Install the third row power folding seat. Refer to => [ Seat ] Seat.

- Perform the third row power folding seat recliner calibration. Refer to => [ Third Row Power Folding Seat Recliner Calibration ] Third Row Power Folding Seat Recliner Calibration.
