Exhaust Manifold Assembly Overview





1 Nut, 30 Nm

• Replace

• Observe tightening sequence:

• left side, refer to => [ Left Exhaust Manifold ] Left Exhaust Manifold.

• right side, refer to => [ Right Exhaust Manifold ] Right Exhaust Manifold.

2 Exhaust manifold

• Removing and installing on cylinder bank 1, right side. Refer to => [ Right Exhaust Manifold ] Right Exhaust Manifold.

• Removing and installing on cylinder bank 2, left side. Refer to => [ Left Exhaust Manifold ] Left Exhaust Manifold.

3 Gasket

• Replace

• Note installation position.

4 23 Nm

• Replace

• Tighten evenly in several stages.

5 Primary catalytic converter

• With flex joint.

• De-coupling element must not be bent more than 10 degrees, otherwise it may be damaged.

• Removing and installing on cylinder bank 1, right side. Refer to => [ Right Primary Catalytic Converter ] Right Primary Catalytic Converter.

• Removing and installing on cylinder bank 2, left side. Refer to => [ Left Primary Catalytic Converter ] Left Primary Catalytic Converter.

6 Gasket

• Replace

• Note installation position.

7 Securing strip

• Remains installed when removing exhaust manifold.

8 25 Nm

• Replace

9 Securing strip

• Remains installed when removing exhaust manifold.

10 25 Nm

• Replace
