Lubrication System Components
• The oil level must not go above the MAX mark - danger of causing damage to the catalytic converter!
• If large quantities of metal particles or abraded material are detected during engine repairs, it may mean the crankshaft or rod bearings are damaged. To prevent subsequent damage, the following work must be performed after the repair:
- Clean the oil channels.
- Replace the oil spray jets.
- Replace the engine oil cooler.
- Replace the oil filter.
