Remove/install the heat exchanger

Remove the dashboard according to Removing the dashboard. [1][2][3]Procedures

Remove the heater unit. Procedures

Note! The heat exchanger can only be replaced if the fan housing is removed.

Note! In case of leakage, the O-rings can be replaced without removing the heat exchanger.






Remove the support plate, remove the cable ties and pipes, and replace the O-rings.
Remove the brackets from the support plate.
Carefully lift the holder over the guide pin.
Pull out the heat exchanger and pipes from the housing.
Remove the cable ties and pipes.
Replace the O-rings.
Check the seal.
Install in the reverse order.
Replace seal, if needed.

Note! Attach the support plate first, then the cable ties.
