Front Seat Ventilation Blower Motor/Duct Replacement

Seat-back Blower Motor/Duct

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations and the precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or service.

NOTE:

- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Remove the seat-back cover/pad Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A), and remove the screws, then remove the blower motor/duct (B) from the seat-back frame.






4. Remove the clips, then separate the duct (A, B) and the blower motor (C, D).





5. Install the blower motor/duct in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.

Seat Cushion Rear Blower Motor/Duct

NOTE:

- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Remove the front seat cushion cover/pad Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement.

3. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A).






4. Release the wire bands (A) and the clips (B) securing the blower duct (C) to the seat cushion frame springs (D).






5. Remove the screws, and release the hooks (A) from the seat cushion frame spring, then remove the blower motor/duct (B).






6. Remove the clips, then separate the duct (A) and the blower motor (B).





7. Install the blower motor/duct in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.

Seat Cushion Front Blower Motor

NOTE:

- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Remove the front seat cushion cover/pad Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement.

3. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A), and remove the screws, then remove the blower motor (B) from the seat cushion front duct.





4. Install the blower motor in the reverse order of removal.

Seat Cushion Front Duct

NOTE:

- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Remove the front seat cushion cover/pad Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement.

3. Remove the screws, then remove the duct (A).





4. Install the duct in the reverse order of removal.
