Dashboard Vent Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

Driver's Side Vent

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove the driver's outer dashboard trim Driver's Outer Dashboard Trim Removal / Installation.

2. Pry up the bottom edge of the side vent (A) to detach the clips, then remove the side vent.





3. Install the side vent in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clip into place securely.

Passenger's Side Vent

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the dashboard.

1. Remove the passenger's dashboard trim panel Passenger's Dashboard Trim Panel Removal / Installation.

2. Remove the screw, and pry up the bottom edge of the side vent (A) to detach the clips, then remove the side vent.






3. Install the side vent in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.

Center Vent

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.

1. Remove the audio and HVAC switch panel (without navigation) Audio and HVAC Switch Panel Removal/Installation or the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel (with navigation) Audio-Navigation and HVAC Switch Panel Removal/Installation.

2. From back of the switch panel, remove the screws, and release the hooks (A), then remove the center vents (B).






3. Install the center vents in the reverse order of removal, and push the hooks into place securely.
