Passenger's Airbag Cutoff Indicator Replacement

1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure, then wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.

2. With navigation: Remove the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel Audio-Navigation and HVAC Switch Panel Removal/Installation.

3. Without navigation: Remove the audio and HVAC switch panel Audio and HVAC Switch Panel Removal/Installation.

4. Disconnect the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator 6P connector (A) on the dashboard wire harness.





5. Push out the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator (B) from behind the switch panel (C).

6. Reinstall the parts in the reverse order of removal.

7. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure.

8. Clear any DTCs with the HDS.

9. Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and check that the SRS indicator and passenger's airbag cutoff indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
