Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

Vibration Damper

Removing

• Ribbed belt removed. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] Ribbed Belt.

- Remove the center noise insulation - 1 to 3 -.






- Remove right noise insulation fasteners - 1 to 3 -.






- Remove vibration damper/belt pulley.

• To loosen and tighten the crankshaft belt pulley, counter-hold at the center bolt using a offset box wrench.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Ribbed Belt and Assembly Bracket Overview ] Ribbed Belt and Assembly Bracket Overview

- Install the crankshaft belt pulley using only original equipment bolts, refer to the electronic parts catalog ETKA.






• Only possible to install in one position: The hole - arrow - in the crankshaft belt pulley must be positioned over the raised area on the toothed belt sprocket
