1 - Rear window

• Removing and installing => [ Rear Window, Removing ] Rear Window, Removing.

2 - Cover profile

• Cover profile, adhering => [ ] Rear Window Cover Profile, Adhering.

• Before installing new cover profile, remove residue completely using a standard window scraper.

• Clean adhesion area with cleaning solution D 009 401 04.

• Apply on to interior of window using e.g. a soft pencil at a distance - a - = 8 mm from upper and side window edges.

• Prime adhesion surface with D 009 200 02 up to markings applied earlier and let it air dry for at least 10 minutes.

• Press cover profile starting from top window edge at center, with rear edge up to end of priming (pencil marking) onto window.

• Then, press cover profile on also on the sides at distance - b - = 8mm from window edge.

• Press on cover profile firmly along circumference using a application roller.

• Reinstall window.
