• Lubricate mounting areas and slide surfaces with grease (G 000 450 02).

• Selector mechanism, disassembling and assembling, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism ] Selector Mechanism.





1 Base Plate

• Always replace

• Bend open tabs to remove

2 Gasket

• Replace

3 Selector Lever

• Can be removed and installed with the shift lever guide installed - 15 -

4 Damping Washer

• Slide out of shift lever as far as stop - arrow -

5 Retaining Clip

• Replace

• Do not damage cables when removing

6 Selector Cable

• Pry off of selector bracket

• Press onto selector bracket inside the shift mechanism

• Installation location, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Overview ] Selector Mechanism Overview

7 Bushing

8 Shift Cable

• Pry off of shift lever guide

• Press onto shift lever guide inside the shift mechanism

• Installation location, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Overview ] Selector Mechanism Overview

9 Damper

10 Bearing Shell

• Replace

• Is damaged during removal

11 Bushing

12 Retaining Washer

• Removing and installing => [ Removing and Installing Lock

16 Nut

• M6 - 8 Nm

• M8 - 25 Nm

• Quantity: 4

17 Gasket

• Between shift housing and floor

• Self-adhesive

• Adhere to shift housing

18 Shift Housing

• With spring and selector bracket

• Spring and selector bracket cannot be removed
