Selector Mechanism Overview
There is a risk of injury and accident from accidentally engaging a gear when the engine is running.
• Before work is done with the engine running, move the selector lever into "P" and press the parking brake button to engage the electromechanical parking brake.

9 Selector Mechanism Function Unit
• Can only be replaced as a unit

10 Shift Lock Solenoid (N110)
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) ] Service and Repair
11 Transmission Park Selector Switch (F305)
• Consists of two microswitches on the circuit board on the shift lock solenoid
• Can only be replaced together with the shift lock solenoid, refer to => [ Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) ] Service and Repair
12 Noise Insulation
• Not installed on all vehicles; For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA)
13 Lock Washers
• Replace
• Quantity: 4
• For securing the noise insulation to the selector mechanism function unit
14 Clip
• Secure the selector lever cable to the selector mechanism function unit
15 O-ring
• Replace
16 Selector Lever Cable
• Do not bend
• Different versions depending on the vehicle; For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA)

• Lightly lubricate ball socket with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2) before installing.
