Distance Regulation Control Module (J428) and Distance Regulation Control Module 2 (J850) Overview

• The distance regulation control module is shown in the illustration. The location of the components of the distance regulation control module 2 is identical.

• 2.5 Nm

4 Connector

• Make sure the connector on the sensor is protected from dirt and water before disconnecting the connector. Take the correct measures, if needed.

• Check the sensor for damage, contact corrosion and water before connecting the connector and service if necessary.

6 Distance Regulation Control Module (J428)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Distance Regulation Control Module (J428) and Distance Regulation Control Module 2 (J850) ] Distance Regulation Control Module (J428) and Distance Regulation Control Module 2 (J850).

7 Clip

• Always replace the clip if the stud bolt - item 8 - => [ (Item 8) Stud ] was removed.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Distance Regulation Control Module (J428) Clip ] Distance Regulation Control Module (J428) Clip.

8 Stud

• If the stud bolt is being removed, then the clip - item 7 - => [ (Item 7) Clip ] must always be replaced.
