Fuse Panel D in Luggage Compartment

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to=> [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing






- Lift the luggage compartment floor covering by the handle and hang the handle on the rear lid seal.

- Loosen the nut - 1 - a few turns and disconnect the positive cable and the fuse panel D from the battery pole.

- Release the spring - 3 - and open the flap - 2 - above fuse panel D - arrow -.

- Disconnect the electrical wires - 1, 5, 6 and 8 -.






• Ignore items - 2 , 3 -.

- Disconnect the positive cable terminal - 4 - and fuse panel D from the battery pole.

- Remove the Battery interrupt igniter (N253) - item 7 -.

- Remove fuse panel D.

• Check the exact assignment for fuse panel D in the current wiring diagram.

Installing

• Tightening specification, refer to=> [ Tightening Specification: ] Engine Compartment E-Box, Wire Junction, Fuse Holder and Battery Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the Battery interrupt igniter.
