Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the self-locking tabs to release sound insulator.
Remove the instrument panel sound insulator.
2. Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement (Carpet Retainer Replacement).




3. Remove the lower center pillar trim finish panel by pulling rearward.




4. Remove the hinge pillar trim finish panel screws.
5. Remove the hinge pillar trim finish panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the hinge pillar trim finish panel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the hinge pillar trim finish panel screws.

Tighten the screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in).




3. Install the lower center pillar trim finish panel.
Install the center pillar trim finish panel by snapping in place.
4. Install the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement (Carpet Retainer Replacement).




5. Install the instrument panel sound insulator.
Install the self-locking tabs to release sound insulator.
