P0780 LOW BRAKE SOLENOID VALVE FUNCTION





Description
- Detects the revved up condition of the under drive sun gear.
- The revolution speed of the under drive sun gear is calculated by the turbine revolution sensor 1 and 2.

DTC Detection Logic:

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.
1.PRECONDITIONING
If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
- GO TO 2.
2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
With CONSULT-III
1. Start the engine.
2. Select "GEAR" with "Data Monitor".
3. Shift the selector lever to "D" position.
4. Accelerate until "4" appears on "GEAR", then release the accelerator pedal.
5. Decelerate until "3" appears on "GEAR" by depressing the brake pedal gradually.

CAUTION:
The brake pedal must be depressed slowly.
6. Then repeat steps 4 to 5 three more times.
7. Stop the vehicle, and then turn the ignition switch OFF.
8. Perform steps 1 to 7 again.
9. Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" mode for "TRANSMISSION".
With GST
Follow the procedure "With CONSULT-III".
Is "P0780" detected?
YES - Go to P0780.
NO - INSPECTION END




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to Intermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace A/T assembly. Refer to (2WD) or Exploded View (AWD).
NO - Repair or replace damaged parts.
