P1705 THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
Description
Electric throttle control actuator consists of throttle control motor, accelerator pedal position sensor, throttle position sensor, etc. The actuator transmits a signal to the ECM, and ECM transmits signals to TCM with CAN communication.

DTC Detection Logic:
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
- GO TO 2.
2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
With CONSULT-III
1. Start the engine and let it idle for 5 seconds or more.
2. Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" mode for "TRANSMISSION".
Is "P1705" detected?
YES - Go to P1705.
NO - INSPECTION END
Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK DTC OF ECM
With CONSULT-III
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" mode for "ENGINE".
Is any DTC detected?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Check DTC detected item. Refer to CONSULT-III Function.
2.CHECK DTC OF TCM
With CONSULT-III
Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" mode for "TRANSMISSION".
Is any DTC detected?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Check DTC detected item. Refer to Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.
3.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to Intermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace A/T assembly. Refer to (2WD) or Exploded View (AWD).
NO - Repair or replace damaged parts.
