Floor Console
This is a "Trustmark Authoring Standards (TAS) Repair Procedure"
- TAS style procedures can be identified by steps that have no accompanying step text and the magenta color of the electrical connectors and fasteners such as nuts, bolts, clamps or clips.
- TAS removal and installation procedures use a sequence of color illustrations to indicate the order to be followed when removing/disassembling or installing/assembling a component.
- Many of the TAS procedures will have the installation information within the removal steps.
- The TAS color illustrations use a variety of symbols to indicate important details of the procedures. It is important to understand these symbols in order to properly used the TAS procedures.

Removal
1 Remove the audio control switches.

2 Remove the gear selector knob.

3 Vehicles without terrain response: Remove the stowage compartment tray.
4 Vehicles with terrain response: Remove the ride and handling optimization switch.

5 Release the gear selector cover.
6 Remove the gear selector cover.
CAUTION: Protect the surrounding trim to avoid damage.
Apply the parking brake control to it's highest possible position.
Disconnect the auxiliary input socket electrical connector.
Remove the 8 screws.
Remove the floor console.
NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
Installation
1 Install the cup holder.
2 Install the floor console bracket.
3 Install the parking brake control gaiter.
4 Install the floor console.
5 Install the gear selector cover.
6 Secure the gear selector cover.
7 Vehicles with terrain response: Install the ride and handling optimization switch.

8 Vehicles without terrain response: Install the stowage compartment tray.
9 Install the gear selector knob.

10 Install the audio control switches
