Removal

WIPER / WASHER: WASHER MOTOR (for Front Side): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Remove the radiator grille Removal.

2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the 3 screws from the front fender splash shield sub-assembly.





(b) Detach the 14 grommets and remove the front fender splash shield sub-assembly.





HINT
The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.

5. DRAIN WASHER FLUID

(a) Disconnect the washer hose from the hose of the windshield washer motor and pump assembly, and then drain the washer fluid.





6. REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Detach the claw and remove the washer inlet sub-assembly.





7. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY

(a) w/o Headlight Cleaner System:

Disconnect the connector.





(b) w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

Disconnect the 3 connectors.





(c) Remove the 3 screws.





(d) Detach the guide and remove the washer jar.





8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the washer motor and pump from the packing of the washer jar.
