EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight)

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts labeled A and 2 bolts labeled B.

(c) Remove the 2 screws and 4 clips.

(d) Remove the 2 screws.

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.





(e) Detach the 7 claws.

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.





(f) w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:

Disconnect the connector.

(g) w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

(h) Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

(i) Remove the front bumper cover.

5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER





(a) Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

6. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER





(a) Remove the clip, 5 bolts and lower front bumper cover.

7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 6 nuts and front bumper reinforcement.

8. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 front bumper extension.

9. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH





(a) Remove the 2 screws and front bumper bar reinforcement.

11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

12. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Halogen Headlight:

Remove the headlight assembly Removal.

(b) for HID Headlight:

Remove the headlight assembly Removal.

13. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Using a clip remover, detach 2 claws and remove the front bumper side support.

HINT
Tape the clip remover tip before use.

16. REMOVE UPPER CENTER FRONT BUMPER RETAINER





(a) Remove the 3 bolts and upper center front bumper retainer.

17. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the radiator side deflector.





18. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and front bumper bracket.

20. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
