DTC B2272 - Ignition 1 Monitor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a malfunction is occurring in the IG1D output circuit, which is from the RH-IG relay 1 actuation circuit inside the power source control ECU to the RH-IG relay 1.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MAIN BODY ECU RH - POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the DA and DD ECU connectors.
(b) Disconnect the K73 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (RH-IG RELAY 1)





(a) Disconnect the DD and DM ECU connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance of the ECU connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU RH
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU (IG1D VOLTAGE)





(a) Measure the output voltage of the power source control ECU.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPLACE POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU
OK -- END
