DTC B2273 - Ignition 2 Monitor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a malfunction is occurring in the IG2D output circuit, which is from the IG2 relay actuation circuit inside the power source control ECU to the IG2 relay.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT IG2 RELAY





(a) Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the relay.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE IG2 RELAY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ENGINE ROOM NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK - POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU)





(a) Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block.
(b) Disconnect the K73 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU (IG2D VOLTAGE)





(a) Measure the output voltage of the power source control ECU.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPLACE POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU
OK -- END
