HINT: For vehicles with active stabilizer suspension system only.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(c) Clear the DTC.
(d) Check for DTC.

Result

B -- GO TO ACTIVE STABILIZER SUSPENSION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE)

(a) Disconnect the A58 front active stabilizer control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (CANH, CAHL)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the A58 front active stabilizer control ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
