1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal
4. REMOVE TOOL BOX
5. REMOVE SPARE TIRE
6. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
7. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal
8. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
- Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

16. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)
17. REMOVE TOOL BOX (w/o Spare Tire) Removal
18. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal
19. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
20. REMOVE BATTERY Removal
21. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER ASSEMBLY Removal
22. DISCONNECT REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR CONNECTOR
(a) Detach the wire harness clamp.
(b) Using the procedures below, disconnect the 2 connectors.
(1) Release the lever's lock. (*1)
(2) Press the claw and move the lever in the direction of the arrow in the illustration. (*2)
(3) Disconnect the actuator connector. (*3)
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the actuator connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
(c) Detach the 2 clamps, and disconnect the actuator wire harness from the body.
(d) Detach the 3 claws, and disconnect the wire harness grommet from the body.

38. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Removal
39. DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) Removal
40. REMOVE TAILPIPE LH Removal
41. REMOVE TAILPIPE RH Removal
42. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE DAMPER Removal
43. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
44. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR NO. 1 HEAT INSULATOR Removal
45. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR Removal
46. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY Removal
47. REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH Removal
48. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP Removal
49. REMOVE FLOOR NO. 1 UNDER COVER Removal
50. DISCONNECT ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR CAP Removal
51. REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE Removal
52. REMOVE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal
53. REMOVE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

54. REMOVE LOAD SENSING VALVE SENSOR BRACKET Removal
55. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
56. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY RH

57. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the stabilizer link from the stabilizer bar.
(b) Remove the bolt, nut and stabilizer link from the rear No. 2 suspension arm.
58. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

59. DISCONNECT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH Removal
60. DISCONNECT PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
61. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Support the suspension member with a jack.
CAUTION:
As the rear suspension is very heavy, securely support it with the transmission jack.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts.
(c) Slowly lower the jack, and disconnect the suspension member from the vehicle.
62. REMOVE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the 2 claws, and remove the wire harness from the suspension member.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and rear active stabilizer control actuator from the suspension member.
63. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BUSH
(a) Remove the 2 bushes from the control actuator.
