DESCRIPTION

- The absorber control ECU inputs the signals from the steering control ECU via CAN communication.

- The fail-safe function prohibits roll posture control if any malfunction occurs in the steering control ECU Fail-Safe Chart.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTC Adaptive Variable Suspension System.

(b) Turn the power switch OFF.

(c) Turn the power switch ON (IG) again and check that no CAN communication system DTC is output.

(d) Turn the power switch ON (READY).

(e) Drive the vehicle and turn the steering wheel to the right and left at a speed of 24 mph (35 km/h), and check which DTC is output Adaptive Variable Suspension System.
