2AZ-FXE COOLING: RADIATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the radiator assembly with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)

(b) Install the 2 lower radiator supports.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Install the No. 2 radiator hose to the radiator assembly.





3. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Install the No. 1 radiator hose to the radiator assembly.





4. INSTALL RADIATOR AND FAN ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the radiator assembly to the vehicle together with the cooling fan assembly.





NOTICE:
For vehicles with the air conditioning system, do not apply any excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or pipe when installing the radiator assembly.

(b) Connect the 3 wire harness clamps and connector.





5. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

(a) Install the radiator side deflector RH with the 3 clips and 2 claws.





6. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN SHROUD

(a) Install the No. 2 fan shroud with the 2 bolts and 2 claws.





Torque : 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)

7. CONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose.





(b) Connect the 4 clamps and No. 3 water by-pass hose to the No. 2 fan shroud.





8. CONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 1 water by-pass hose.





9. CONNECT NO. 5 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

(a) Connect the 4 clamps and No. 5 inverter cooling hose to the fan shroud.





10. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 2 radiator hose.





11. CONNECT NO. 3 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 3 radiator hose and No. 4 water by-pass hose.





12. INSTALL HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the hood lock support sub- assembly with the 4 bolts.





Torque : 13 Nm (128 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

13. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT RH

(a) Install the radiator support cushion to the radiator support RH.

(b) Install the bolt and radiator support RH.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the No. 2 water by-pass hose clamp to the radiator support RH.

14. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT LH

(a) Install the radiator support cushion to the radiator support LH.

(b) Install radiator support LH with the 2 bolts.





Bolt A - Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

Bolt B - Torque : 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)

15. INSTALL NO. 5 INVERTER BRACKET Removal

16. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET Installation

17. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

18. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

19. INSTALL HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Installation

20. INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Installation

21. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

22. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) Service and Repair

23. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) Testing and Inspection

24. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

25. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

26. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation

27. ADD WASHER FLUID (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Installation

28. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIMING
